The link works. My only comment is about the piano part - I think it would be better if it didn't speed up suddenly. Just a steady pace throughout would be more effective and atmospheric, I think.

Hi, Dobro .

I will take on board your suggestions , the part where the Piano speeds up is where a Guitar solo will hopefully fit . i may have to split the Piano there though , not sure , first i have to learn how to cut or split the track .

It is only 2 minutes long , so i think i will need to stretch it out a bit .

I agree with a steady tempo. The dynamics of this piece are better accentuated by constantly varying the arrangement. If it was to be left only as a piano piece then perhaps a varying tempo would work better....but it's a bit hard to collaborate and sync tracks when the tempo changes throughout.

I like the piece though...that's the very kind of mood I like to play lead over. Let me know when it's ready....I'll be all over that.

Ok I finally got to hear this, and now that I have I agree with what has been said about the tempo changes. Keep it a steady tempo and I'd also remove the sound effects until after the instrument tracks are put in and the arrangement is done. Then you'd know where the effects would suit more. If you create a steady tempo on this I'd be up for throwing some ideas at you for development. I sent you an email and we are connected via G+ now too. Thumb Up

new track posted , in first post , where the link used to be,

i am not sure if i should use Dave's Piano all the way through , and that would be a bit hard , because that snippet is all i have ,

also i am thinking of adding a guitar solo , or riff , in the gaps between vocals . ????????

is Stu still around , ????
