I have this old EV that has a broken wire.....
the old wire is super thin....

my question is....can I use a heavier wire or do I need find some of this super thin stuff?

also....since I am doing one....should I do both?

I have all the right gear to solder....the wire is my only issue....

oh, then larger wires is no problem.

The place where it would matter would be those tiny wires that run from the voice coil to the edge of the element. Those need to be small so they won't impede the motion of the diaghram.
But the wires running to the 3 pins at the bottom of the mic won't matter. Use whatever's handy.
