Euphonix MC Contorl and a Euphonix Mix- should be here Friday or Monday- and it's NOT proprietary to ProTools.

Touchscreen interface- 12 faders (bankable) I don't need internal pre-amps... and as I was never good at precisely mixing with my thumbs... that only leaves me 8 fingers... I can expand the Euphonix by another 8, 16, 24, etc fader/channels... but I really don't think I'm gonna need more... drums and elaborate vocal parts are the only tracks where I need them all available- and once the drums are set, I can group and chow a single channel to bring the mixed level up/down, and or use the aux busses-

and by not having to patch/route to/from internal pre's, eliminates a bunch of cables
