Aside from the drummer appearing less ugly, what effect do they have on sound?

having replaced the carpeting with the wood/bamboo, the room is much more alive and bleed is more a problem, especially from the drums. I record quite a bit of material in a "live" setting, and although I knew I would have to make some additional acoustical treatment adjustments to the room. The gobo's do a really good job of 'containing' the sound and minimizes bleed. I have one for the guitar amp and the bass amp also

I had some real funky ones years (closet doors cut in half covered in carpet) ago that worked pretty well, but they were a "shared" possession with one of the band members and when he left, to avoid any further drama, they left with him.

These have 2" RFG inside the frame with a 1/4" perf board one side that acts as a baffle of sorts

This Wednesday will be the flame test to see if the overall effort was worthwhile
