Hi.I'm a guitarrist, but I'm looking for a cheap bass in order to record the bass parts in my songs when recording, this is the only porpose, a cheap bass, connect it to the computer and process with ampeg.I've seen one at a site, but for the price I'm afraid I coud have out of tuning problems.Which is your piece of advise.I don't expect too much for the price, but I'd like to ensure it will do this function correctly before buying it.The links are these:

SX basses give you a lot of bang for your bucks,....or Euros....

I have had mine for 7 years and it is a fine bass.
Other people who have played it agree that it's a good bass and I paid short money for it....

I would go for a mid level bass.....avoid the starter packs....

Since I've never played one I obviously can't comment on how it plays or sounds but it surely is pleasing to the eyes, especially for 95,-

I have played a couple of their mid priced ones and they are well worth the money.

Short of buying a really top of the line Bass, I'd go straight for one of the Rondos in a heartbeat particularly for occasional use.

Yeah, but never, never, ever clean it. The decal on the headstock comes off with lemon Pledge.

And if it does, remember its resale value has dropped, unless the buyer's name is Dobro, in which case it increases.
