Garage Band has a setting for "on the radio" which sounds like the tile.... as I really don't use GB much....

I'm guessing it's EQ??? some comp (or maybe a lot)

I've played a bit, but not coming up with anything close-

Radio stations squash the crap out of their program. They have to. High noise floor + wildly varied material.

Be aware that if you squash your stuff like it is on broadcast if it goes through broadcast processing a second time it will likely sound like ass.
