not really a recorder question... but

I have an 83 Fostex 3050 "Digital Delay"

works way cool with my guitar using FX send/returns on my Mesa

nice jazz feeel, great on slide.. all the way to outer space... and "that's wierd..."

it has a feedback input...

what the hell is this for?

I believe you're mixing up your nomenclature about the name of that connection.

According to the owner's manual, it's actually called a fold-back input, not a feedback input.

A fold-back input is just a paralleled aux input connection and behaves the same as the normal input connection.

The feedback control knob on the front panel is used for returning a portion of the output's signal back in the input signal chain...but I'm sure you already knew that and just confused the terminology.

The manual for the unit is also available on line for any other questions you may have:

Cheers! Smile
