About Halfway from Montgomery, Alabama to New York Fucking City.

Interesting Choice, no doubt.

Too far off the beaten path for an impovershed chemist to pull off.

Hope I can get the jam feed!

I guess that makes my attendance mandatory. I better book the week for vacation then. Since this is an acoustic Jam, I'll bring way less gear, and maybe make room for my smoker.

don't know, other than voxxy brown family, who wants motels but here are the better ones:

holiday inn express.....434-575-4000

quality inn.....434-572-4311 (rest. and lounge)

super 8....434-572-8868

now for the facilities. I have 2 private rooms with double bed that I will reserve for any couples, other wise it's first come. there's 3 full size sofas and 1 short sofa. I can come up with 4-6 twin mattress' for the floor. Everyone can sleep inside, but there is plenty room for tents if anyone wants to go that way. The end of March should give us very fair weather. There's 2 full baths, so showers and stuff should be fine.

There's no need to bring any food, unless you just have some special surprise. I will have coolers with ice, all snack type stuff, all the trimmings, and either I will cook or I'll have someone doing that.

As we get a little closer head count, I'll let out the menu. It's looking like BBQ (Boston Butt smoked on the grille) and beer can chickens on the grille so far. of course this subject to change if needed. and beans.

more later.

Dan

ok, just found out that I can get motel rooms for 50.00 at the best place in town. so if a room is needed, let me know, and I'll book'em for you. My boss man can get this rate through the golf course.

I got your PM and tried to reply, but got some weird error.

Sign us up for the $50 room for the Friday and Sat night.

We need 2 doubles or 2 queens.... 1 king doesn't work for us, since we have the kid travelling with us.

Put it under my name..

Joey Bochek.

PS> Anyone here calls me Joey, they die. WinkVery Happy

Damn, i sure so miss a lot around here!

Shit, i live right on hwy 85. i can be in greensboro, SC in about an hour!

i can probably be in South Boston, VA in aroud 6-7 little hours! Hell, me and Cyrokk made it to Tom's place in 14. That's like a ride to the city. Laughing I'm gonna have to seriously consider this. You got room for a social pariah and his cheap ass acoustic? Laughing

Let me read through this thread..........sounds like a damn good time!

Ok, get this, I just had this vision!

We are all in Virginia, maybe 6-10 of us, sitting around in a little circle, dtb's got this long hair thing going, all dressed in like jeans or moccasins or something hippyish, and sitting and playing Suite: Judy Blue Eyes. Lol, that song reminds me of exactly how this Anal Fest will be. This is gonna be GREAT! Well, Im at work, if anyone wants to keep me company and chat, AIM at cmr0385 or post on the thread or PM me for a number to reach me or something!

It's snowing here right now. got about half an inch and it's coming down hard and fast. btb is on the way over, and we might do a little picking.

and I don't have any idea how to play that tune. but you got the rest correct. LOL.

So who's gonna buy your beer when you get up here? LOL.

I can see it now. the cops blow in, and we get busted. the word goes out to the RP site, and everyone's sad cause we got nailed for drugs. And there's complete surprise when they find out it wasn't drugs. We was busted for contributing to a minor.LOL.

later,

Dan

Im here, in school again. There is a crazy evangelist in the lawn of my 40,000+ student school, and he is getting tons of shit right now. What an asshole. Anyways, I hear Voxxy has a new acoustic, a Godin, and is finally getting around to learning some real chords Wink Laughing Well, any new news for the fest? Anyone want to chat, aim at cmr0385 is where I can be reached, or good ol' VoxChat! Adios!

Sad

dammit dammit dammit.....

man, I just caught this thread, as I've been sorta MIA lately getting things ready for the baby thing. The due date is March 23rd, so there's no way Kathy and I can possibly hit this thing... ...although I do owe Dan a Wednesday morning wakeup call, and a Wednesday night that never ends Wink . Sounds like it's gonna be a wicked cool jam. Hopefully I'll at least be able to catch some of the feed if that's a go.
