I'm looking into the feasability of making my own tape echo. I already got one, a Roland Space Echo, but I realized how cool it would be with a longer tape-path (=longer delays) and multi-tap stereo. Cool

But I have searched the web to find places that can sell me 1/4" tape heads and other parts. Any ideas of where to look?

You can talk to 'Village TX' in the analog forum over at HR.
He might have something.

Here's a link to some parts and stuff, but I don't know what they have exactally. (This is the place I saw the ad for that Mc-500 upgrade)
