I wrote this one after finding a '62 Harmony in a junk shop for $40 and sort of came up with a somewhat fictional story based around events that in many ways did take place around my home town when I was a kid. One mic in a room, slight plate reverb some compression and limiting that's all. The guitar here is my Eastman 320B which was a prototype for a model they still sell today. Nothing fancy, just sort of a song inspired by the style of Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard.

So funny... I started listening to this before I read your post, and 30 seconds into it, I was thinking Johnny Cash, all the way. That reverb, the picking and singing style. I was literally imagining you singing this on TV in black and white. Nice tune. Great singing. Nice playing.

Thanks! I guess I've become the sum of my influences over the years. I can't complain about that I suppose. Thinking it's time to bust out another round of songs soon.
