Pretty much works, yes? The levels and separation are about right. One feature that I notice is that whereas all the instruments are out front, the vocal is set back in the mix. Probably you want that much space on it, and that's what's pushing it back there. What DAW did you mix it on?

The mix is OK. You might carve a little sonic hole out of the guitars where their frequencies overlap with the vocals. Just a little eq down in those frequencies and the vocals with pop out a bit more.

Does the Vocal still seem to far back?
added another little ear candy guitar part second half of first verse. Also eqed out some ringing on the snare. Maybe I should just automate the eq carve for just the chorus on the guitars ?

a little multiband compression, a touch of sonic enhancement. Brought up the lows, the high mids. Sonic enhancement to put a little edge on to the vocals.
