Tez, what software are you using? Converting MIDI to audio is quite simple if you're using a sequencer. It's usually done by selecting Export to audio. After a few whirrs and clicks, there's your audio file. You can then convert *that* to MP3 so you can post it here.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, it's what we're here for, and ALL of us were newbies once.

Kgirl , thank you for taking a look at this , i don't have any "wants" or "directions" for this " Project " . i am Not a Musician , the melody is ONLY a guide , no pressure to "use" it , i didn't write it , the only kind of "music" i can play is computer generated . that is why i need the help of all you talented people here . Kgirl you sing it , how it "feels" to you , the short snippet of intro , which i did "author" is just something i thought sounded good , it was the melody in my head when i wrote the Chorus , which had the working title - My Doves Blue , i replaced that line with C'est La Vie , i thought about using Amour Perdu , and finally ended up with the title it has now. so no pressure , i think it's a slow , mournful song ( but please no crying Smile it's not that sad .

Kgirl , i only just found out that my lyrics won't download from the link that i posted , sorry Embarassed it works fine when i click on it from my home computer , but when i tried it today from another computer the page was blank !! . i was trying out this software that allows me to type my lyrics on the lead sheet , to give you an idea , of where the verse's , chorus, etc. start / end , with the melody .

i will try to show here, how it was , BPM: 78 OR 88 ? , KEY: D , METER: 4/4 .

it has a 6 second "click" at the start .

Intro / Bridge : 0:06 - 0:18

This is an epitaph
Of a romance
Before it began

Verse . 1. 0:18 - 0:43

When i first saw you
I thought you were the one
But as i was to find
I had to take a ticket
And stand in line

Chorus 0:43 - 1:07

C'est Ca L'amour
C'est La Vie

Re - Intro 1:07 - 1:20

????????????????????

Verse. 2. 1:20 - 1:44

Maybe if i didn't aim so high
I wouldn't have so far to fall
But maybe i don't want to be
Just another number on the wall

Chorus . 2. 1:44 - 2:09

C'est Ca L'amour
C'est La Vie

Bridge . 2:09 - 2:33

This was only supposed
To be an epilogue
But now it's turned
Into an episode
One that i'm trying to forget
With regret

Chorus . 3. 2:33 - 2:58

C'est Ca L'amour
C'est La Vie

Verse . 3. 2:58 - 3:30

Oh well
That's the way it goes
You can't win them all
So now i suppose
I'll be waiting for that call

Chorus , ( if it fits )
