I picked up a Tascam DR-1. They make a mount for it, but want big bucks for a cheap part. Here is my version.. works great and it was basically free. Perfect! I have the Zoom H4 which has the same mount as a camera... so some use for the old camera tripod! _________________ Stainless .... Yeah , a camera tripod or I like the included mic clip adapted . It also helps for removing from the very tight camera case I keep it in .

They have them at J&R for about $7.00 Lt. if the Tascam has a standard
tripod mounting .

I did a camera tripod mound for free on the same unit. I drilled the side of the mount that has the mic stand mount on it and tapped it for a 1/4"x20 bolt. The tap ended up in the very end of brass insert for the mic mount so it is very strong.
