A person would have to be seriously challenged not to have a ton of fun in that space. If I had a space like that, I wouldn't trust anybody who claimed to be my friend. Laughing

I'd start with the organ. The congas are a draw, too. Smile

Dobro- you come for a visit! I can even provide lodging!!! Friends are always welcome!.. though my wife may have issues if you come fressed like your "more personal tittle" Laughing

I been trying to upload a pic (today) of the new bamboo flooring... what a difference over carpet... but the RP server must be bogged down

while I do "commercial work, I'm rather particular about what projects I take on... and we initially meet at a local Starbucks

This post somehow slipped by me. Your studio looks awesome, stainless! I'm coveting all that gear, man. Does the Hammond have a Leslie? I'd have that on my guitar all the time. Looks great!

Skulpt- Thanks- this has taken me years!

yes I have a Leslie- It's a single rotor but I have all the parts to make a double rotor Leslie in a smaller cabinet. I butchered a new X-77 Leslie (which was huge) for the parts -

among my many 'upcoming' projects

here's with the new floor!

the best luck I had was marrying a very understanding and supportive women-

the rest was hard work and saving up for each piece of gear

now that it's finally done I'm out of excuses for not making music Rolling Eyes

it's all in the camera angle! Laughing

The control room is 140 sq ft and the studio room is 300 sq ft... or about 25% of my house (I have a very understanding wife... well most of the time)

it's cozy with 5 players in there.

my personally biased opinion is that with good use of acoustic treatment one can get a "bigger" than the square footage would seem to dictate

Cool. If this was my space the only thing I'd change would be paint. I'm really funny and like everything to be uniform throughout. Of course this has no effect on really making music or recording, it just looks nice.

I actually like the paint...... Has a psyhodelic/60's look to it.

Great pics.... Looks like you could shut yourself in there for days and never get bored.

gaz and inhab

Thanks! having it pretty much done is a good feeling- It's been a very long (and pay as you go) project. Still getting used to the new sound of the room with wood floors, but that's not a bad thing!

very nice ...... I prefer cosmic and chaotic paint so I think it's cool.
I'd have it looking like a hippie den or Spencers' Gifts in there!
