Hi, I'd like to buy amplitube VST plugin, but, before, I'd like to know some issues about it.For example, is it possible to listen the distorted sound of amplitube in real time as you're recording, and however, record the the guitar track dry in order to be able to do different adjustemens over it later??

I'm using Nuendo 3.How it would do it??

Playing in realtime, there'll probably be some amount of latency, but if your system is up to snuff, it should be negligible.

You'd load the plugin as a track insert, and use Nuendo's monitoring (one of the track buttons). You'll be recording the dry signal and monitoring it through Amplitube, allowing you to change settings later.

They have a 10 day demo download. Try it out:

I'm on PT8.0 and Amplitibe2 works fine for me, though others have reported problems.... I don't use it while recording- I find the ultra-clean DI galringly shows of any flubs that the distortion might otherwise mask... tok a little getting used to, but it's now become the norm for me (mainly because I'm too lazy most of the time to position the mic on the amp

appears to be Windows (No OSX) Ampitube 2 has ... actually more possibilities than I need, but Freeamp is definitely less $$$
