Hey everyone,

I started my own company in multimedia. Services that are provided are recording, mixing, mastering, web design/programming including Flash animation, and graphic design.

My website will be up this Friday which is the reason I'm posting this message.

I would like to implement tutorials and articles on my site having to do with all the services I'm providing. I've written 3 basic articles for my site having to do with recording but haven't had the time to write for other topics.

If anyone on the forum, has experience in these field and would like to contribute to my site content, please send me an email. Of course, the person responsible for writing the article will get full credit and a links to their own site.

Also, I'm looking for web developers that will work on a contract basis, basically as needed, for contracts that will come up. If interested, please contact me for more details.

For those that are interested in any of these requests, please keep in mind that I'm going to maintain the highest level of workmanship and am looking for people who know what they are doing. Articles will be read to make sure they meet these standards and web developers will have to provide a portfolio of work and code.

Thanks for your time,
sonicpaint

Congrats, and good luck on the new venture!

I know only enough to be dangerous about web design, so all I can offer are well-wishes.

seanmorse,
Thanks! It's going to be, and has been, a ton of work but I'm hoping it's going to be worth it.

Sounds interesting mate!
I don't consider myself good enough to write about recording/mixing, but I might be interested in web development/coding.

Excellent man! -- I'm not one of the experts you're looking for, just a well-wisher.

Good luck!

MichaelM,
Thanks! Just let me know.

satchmo,
It's been a while...lol. How have you been? Thanks satch.

Oh, the site is up by the way but it's going to be an on going project due to the functionality that I want to implement on the site. A lot of server side stuff in ASP.

The address is http://www.sonicpaintmultimedia.com

If anyone has any suggestions on the content that is on the site, please feel free to share you thoughts.

Thanks,
sonicpaint

Looking good at the moment, although the main content section feels kindof crowded to me. There should be a dedicated articles section, instead of just linking the articles from the main page. I'm sure you'll get to this once you have articles from different categories. Also, the articles should be pages in your site, rather than downloadable rtf files. Provide a downloadable pdf format, but have them as pages on your site - that keeps the peeps there.

But yeah, the site's been up for less than a day, and is looking good so far Smile

Hey Michael,
I agree totally, thanks for the the tips! I'll be getting to that for sure. As you've mentioned, I haven't done that because there is only three. The conversion to PDF is a for sure thing. I have FlashPaper but the conversion process takes way to long to PDF and FlashPaper formats. I have to find a better app for this. Any suggestions?

Great suggestions, and thanks again for your input. Much appreciated!

Dunno, lately I've been using Word 2007, it can save files to pdf without any plugins which is handy. OpenOffice can also export to pdf. They are the only ones I've tried. (apart from acrobat pro at uni).

I found an App to do it, I have an older version of MSWord. I've converted the articles and the other docs that were in word format. Much better now.

Thanks again,
sonicpaint

Nice site, Nilton! Good suggestions as above. If you want a proof-reader for the articles, let me know.
