Dan tha Man....

I'm leaving here 6AM Friday the 13th.....I'm not scared Shocked

Should arrive So. Boston VA around 12 hours later.

Still not sure if my daughter will be with me, she's having issues getting time off at work Sad

We may stay at your place or get a motel...we'll play it by ear.

If I come alone, I'll sleep where I fall down at the time Very Happy

This is the 1st leg of a road trip to Tampa for me, stopping at your place and Buford Georgia to visit my sister in law, then to Tampa.

I can't wait to see ya again man,

Dave

we may need a couple extra mics........57s or 58s would do if'in anyone can swing it. my pa can handle 8 mics and I think I'll hve 4-5 on hand, maybe 6. I'm thinking of settin up the pa in the basement kinda coffee house style, mostly for acoustics and vocals. we have the bass amp covered and a smallish amp for the keyboard.

Bought me a squeezebox. Rough shape, but it plays - keys plus bass / chord buttons. Never realized keys were a shorter scale than a regular keyboard. That'll take some getting used to. Not sure I'm working the bellows right, either - the book I picked up skips that part, dammit.

Also grabbed some shakers and a jaw harp. I am ready ready ready.

And I gotta say, Elderly Instruments is the coolest space in the universe. Even though they don't carry keys. I could hang out there every day, if it weren't 100+ miles away from everything else in my life.

Daffy
/who still didn't hang out there even when he worked right down the road

Well, things are looking a little sketchy for me. I'm still planning on coming, but I was summoned for jury duty and got selected for a case that will start later in the week. Depending on how long that takes, I may have to come Saturday rather than Friday evening.
