I'm interested in whether there's anything simple and cheap available for analyzing recorded audio and producing information about pitch changes.

I looked at a recent post about spectrum analysis and I suppose that, plus some math could be made to work. However, since there are already things like computer-based guitar tuners and software to adjust pitch, I would assume that being able to identify it in a monophonic source would be a lesser form of rocket science.

Any suggestions?

Thanks. That would probably do what I need...and a hundred things that I don't know whether I need...but I suspect not. Smile

Melodyne Uno isn't all that expensive - $150 IIRC...
