i dono man i just checked out some of the vintage sets and some of them have echoes and others have noise trails. theres some weird sounds in there too.

some of it may be usable if i trimmed it up in soundforge...

hmm... set 5 isnt too bad

i guess you get what you pay for eh?

i tried the snare set and they sound like they were taken from a synth!

If I would have seen this thread earlier, I'd mention that I didn't find them all that useful. I downloaded all of them and never used one of those samples in the couple of years I've had them. Only talking about the drums samples here. If anyone does use them, I'd be interested in hearing what was done with them!

those samples were OK, some of them are outright useless, but some, like the hi hat samples and a couple snare were alright.

the main word here folks, is FREE!!
