The Recording Project was dreamed up during the summer
of 2003 by a couple of nerds, Emeric Loan (Emeric) and Boden Larson (Slackmaster2K).
Initially just a bunch of petty complaining about the state of the online
recording community, we finally decided to put our money where our mouths
are and start our own BBS.
We started out thinking on a very small scale, but it
soon became evident that our most exciting ideas would require substantial
investment and dedication. Thus, a parent company called Sound Resound
was formed, servers were soon leased, and we started implementing The
Recording Project with the help of a small group of talented friends.
|
The Recording Project's vision is to provide
an online community for those who cherish the art of audio recording.
From 'newbies' to seasoned professionals, The Recording Project
offers the platform on which to learn and share knowledge with other
artists to globally hone our craft. We also hope to become your
one-stop source for industry news and information about other independent
and professional artists.
Together, we're walking the fine line between
art and engineering, achieving that critical balance between inspired
creation and formal technique. Welcome!
